City Lies immerses us in an EP full of rich atmosphere and tenuous melodies. "Shattered Hearts" brings us to the brink of existence with the haunting sounds of an automatic respirator that culminate in an ethereal, submersive realm of sound. "Eastbound" picks up where the previous track ends, expressing vast emptiness through resonant pads that fill your ears with harmonies both uplifting and yearning in nature. Staying the course with its eponymous title, "Haunted" puts the listener on the edge of inquisition and discovery with retro-futuristic synths that dip in and out of harmony, dissonance and quietude.
